Added a much needed second paint table.
This second table has really opened a few doors. I get a bit manic when painting, restless. It helps me to be able to paint several paintings at once. Painting multiple paintings allows me the opportunity to walk away, invest time with another painting, then come back with an open mind. Often I get to close to the painting and can’t see clearly. I have often heard artists say, “That’s a great painting, don’t screw it up”. So yes, this second table is absolutely valuable. The freedom and space it offers is great.
This studio has gone through some transformations over the years. This photo shows the most recent look at my studio. We painted the floor to clean it up for the Loveland Studio Tour.
